Conflict Resolution

Understanding what drives conflict, recognising your own patterns, the mechanics of productive disagreement, and how to repair relationships when things have gone wrong.

What's inside

This collection works at three levels: understanding what conflict is actually about, recognising your own patterns when tension rises, and building practical skills to navigate disagreement and repair relationships. Each topic includes a micro lesson, blind spots, journal prompts, and a five-day habit builder.

The programme moves through four stages:

Understanding Conflict — What's happening beneath the surface when people disagree, the difference between positions and interests, and how the stories we tell about each other's motives sustain unproductive conflict.

Your Conflict Patterns — Your default response under pressure, how avoidance masquerades as peace, and when directness crosses into aggression.

Navigating Disagreement — Separating the person from the problem, listening to understand rather than to win, and finding genuine common ground without surrendering what matters.

Repair and Recovery — The anatomy of a genuine apology, rebuilding trust after a rupture, and what to do when resolution isn't possible.

How to use this collection

As a structured programme, deliver sequentially over eight to ten weeks. The arc builds from understanding through self-awareness to skill and repair.

For individual coaching, each section works powerfully one-to-one. Use Your Conflict Patterns for clients who keep repeating the same dynamic, or Repair and Recovery for damaged relationships.

For team coaching, the programme works well when a whole team engages together — particularly Understanding Conflict and Navigating Disagreement — building shared language for handling tension.
